Ebike Speedo Adapter

My Specialized ebike mounts the speedometer/controller above the mountain bike style handle bar where a slip in the mud broke a tiny plastic part. Replacement was prohibitively expensive. The shop's fix with a cable tie didn't last. I made a more permanent fix through an evolutionary design in less than a day.

The tight tolerances and small dimensions required repeated prints enabling evolutionary decision making.

A progression of prints in two parts and then combined.

Three prints for lower bayonet. Two prints for upper speedometer attachment. Two prints for complete assembly.

First five prints were 15 minutes each. Last two prints took 30 minutes each. Material cost 15 to 30 cents.

See T-Beam Bracket where we now have a printable place to mount additional electronics.
