It's hard to buckle a seat belt when you can't reach the buckle as it has slid down the belt. This broken stop was suppose to prevent that. Can we fabricate a replacement?

The replacement installed in the belt webbing after enlarging the existing opening with a knitting needle and adding some taper to the part with a penknife. The through shaft was then flared with a soldering iron.

Reinforced nylon part installed.
The original plastic part was most likely broken when caught in the jam when closing the car door. A slight increase in the through-hole dimension along with the carbon-fiber reinforced material will make this version more durable.
